В растительном покрове преобладают сосновые леса, представленные главным образом разнотравно-злаковыми, широкотравными, зеленомошными, зеленомошно-брусничными и остепненными типами. Менее распространены травяно-болотные и сфагновые сосняки, а долгомошные и беломошные боры встречаются редко и лишь на незначительных участках. Изредка (на участках, защищенных от зимних ветров, чаще в западной части района) встречаются сложные боры с подлеском из кустообразной липы. В сосняках на основных породах обычно имеется примесь лиственницы, увеличивающаяся в наиболее неблагоприятных для древесной растительности условиях – на сухих каменистых склонах с маломощным почвенным покровом, на подверженных действию холодных ветров склонах северной экспозиции, где иногда образуются сосново-лиственничные редколесья или небольшие редкостойные лиственничники. Под полог осветленных сосновых и лиственнично-сосновых лесов часто заходят степные кустарники и лугово-степные виды травянистых растений, придающие этим лесам остепненный характер. Для них очень характерны также некоторые реликтовые виды южносибирского происхождения – Saussurea controversa, Lathyrus gmelinii, Gentianopsis barbata, Geranium pseudosibiricum, Cerastium pauciflorum. Березняки из Betula pendula на территории района распространены почти так же широко, как и сосняки, но в преобладающем большинстве случаев являются производными (как и реже встречающиеся осинники). По характеру травяного яруса они представляют собой аналоги соответствующих типов сосняков (наиболее обычны разнотравно-злаковые и широкотравные типы). Коренные березняки (в особенности из Betula pubescens) встречаются на переувлажненных местообитаниях в долинах рек и ручьев, по берегам озер и окраинам болот. Нередко в них имеется примесь ольхи черной и серой, иногда образующих и чистые насаждения. Очень редко встречаются небольшие участки липняков (на островах некоторых озер) и темнохвойно-широколиственных лесов (в западной части района). Леса района очень сильно пострадали от рубок и пожаров, вследствие чего представлены почти исключительно вторичными насаждениями, в немалой степени сменившимися на производные березняки. Значительные площади занимают луга различных типов, обычно имеющие послелесное происхождение. На склонах горных хребтов в местах выхода грунтовых вод встречаются горно-ключевые высокотравные луга, по составу сходные с подгольцовыми высокотравьями района высокогорий. На сухих каменистых склонах южной экспозиции распространены сообщества горных степей – кустарниковых (со Spiraea crenata, S. hypericifolia, Cerasus fruticosa, Cotoneaster melanocarpus), злаково-разнотравных (с Helictotrichon desertorum, Stipa pennata, S. dasyphylla, Festuca valesiaca, Koeleria cristata, Artemisia armeniaca, A. sericea, A. commutata и др.) и петрофитных (с Echinops crispus, Centaurea sibirica, Dianthus acicularis, Aster alpinus, Artemisia frigida, Clausia aprica, Orostachys spinosa, Patrinia sibirica и др.). По берегам озер и на месте бывших водоемов широко распространены болотные сообщества – эвтрофные осоковые, мезотрофные осоково-сфагновые с Betula pubescens, олиготрофные сфагновые с сосной и комплексом трав и кустарничков, характерных для болот таежной зоны. В многочисленных озерах, существенно различающихся по химическому составу вод, характеристикам донных грунтов и другим условиям, развиты весьма богатые и разнообразные по составу водные и прибрежно-водные сообщества, в которых ценозообразователями чаще всего выступают виды рода Potamogeton, Myriophyllum sibiricum, Stratiotes aloides, Ceratophyllum demersum, Nuphar lutea. В озерах района встречаются такие чрезвычайно редкие для области виды, как Isoëtes lacustris, Sparganium gramineum, Sagittaria natans, Potamogeton rutilus, P. filiformis, Caulinia flexilis, Batrachium eradicatum, Elatine hydropiper, E. orthosperma, E. triandra. |
